2024 Provider Status End-of-Year Legislative Update
One hundred sixty-five bills pertaining to pharmacist scope of practice and payment for pharmacist-provided patient care services were introduced in 41 states during the 2024 legislative session. Several of the bills focused on addressing public health concerns, including vaccination authority, test and treat services, and prescribing of HIV prophylaxis medications.
