The National Alliance of State Pharmacy Associations announced today that it has appointed Krystalyn Weaver, PharmD, JD as its Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer.
The National Alliance of State Pharmacy Associations (NASPA) is committed to enhancing the success of state pharmacy associations in their efforts to advance the profession of pharmacy. Representing the interests of the fifty state pharmacy associations, NASPA has established itself as a leader in fostering collaboration and driving positive change within the pharmacy community.
In her new role as CEO, Dr. Weaver will lead NASPA’s dedicated team of professionals, with a focus on growing the organization’s value to its state association and associate members, sponsors, and other stakeholders. She will spearhead initiatives to expand NASPA’s programs, fortify its membership base, and contribute to the continued success of state pharmacy associations.
Krystalyn Weaver brings extensive experience in pharmacy practice, state and federal policy, association management, and strategic planning. Previously, she practiced as a healthcare attorney at Sidley Austin, LLP where she advised clients on issues ranging from drug pricing to healthcare compliance.
