NASPA Welcomes New President Elise Barry
NASPA is excited to announce its 2023 President, Elise Barry. Elise was sworn in to the President position on March 25, 2023 at the NASPA 2023 Spring Meeting in Phoenix.
Elise M. Barry, MS, CFRE currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the New Jersey Pharmacists Association (NJPhA) and as the Managing Director of the Pharmacist Institute of New Jersey.
Her appointments include Adjunct Faculty Preceptor at Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University, Pharmacy Practice Preceptor at Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, St. John’s University School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and Touro College of Pharmacy, Adjunct Clinical Professor of Pharmacy at Fairleigh Dickinson School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Adjunct Instructor at the Temple University School of Pharmacy and LIU College of Pharmacy, offering a unique advanced pharmacy practice rotation in aspects of association management and legislative advocacy.
Elise’s advisory board memberships include the Fairleigh Dickinson School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and the Transformative Leadership in Disruptive Times Council at Seton Hall University.
Elise is a graduate of Boston College, and she holds a master’s degree from Pratt Institute. In addition, she earned a post-graduate certificate in non-profit management from New York Medical College and Fordham University, and she holds the Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) credential from the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
