Pharmacists for Healthier Lives Encourages Immunization Education
The Pharmacists for Healthier Lives (PfHL) campaign has launched a new initiative aimed at educating the public about immunizations. Especially important around back to school season, this campaign encourages everyone to get their vaccinations and learn the facts from their local pharmacist.
“The new school year has once again put the issue of immunizations front and center. Unfortunately, there is still a lot of misinformation being spread about vaccinations,” said Lucinda Maine, PhD, RPh, Executive Vice President & CEO of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP), in a prepared statement. “Pharmacists for Healthier Lives is launching this effort to provide the facts on immunization and encourage every eligible person to receive their vaccinations.”
