“Pharmacists for Healthier Lives” Campaign Enters Second Phase

The Pharmacists for Healthier Lives campaign has entered its second phase.  Aimed at educating consumers about the invaluable contributions pharmacists make to their patients and to our nation’s healthcare system as a whole, this campaign is designed to raise the profile of pharmacy as an essential healthcare profession.  Since its launch in October 2018, the first phase of the campaign reached more than 4 million individuals on Facebook, with the campaign video achieving more than 8 million views and more than 10 million impressions.  The second phase includes additional advertising and research.

The Pharmacists for Healthier Lives campaign is supported by a coalition of pharmacy organizations including the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP), NASPA, the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP), ASHP, ACPE, PrescribeWellness, and several state pharmacy associations including the Georgia Pharmacy Association, the Iowa Pharmacy Association, the Nebraska Pharmacists Association, the Indiana Pharmacists Alliance, and the Illinois Pharmacists Association.
