The North Dakota Pharmacists Association (NDPhA) announced at its Annual Convention last week that the association is donating $500,000 to the North Dakota State University School of Pharmacy for a new state-of-the-art Concept Pharmacy.
“Pharmacy professionals support efforts to educate the next generation of pharmacists with state-of-the-art technology and methods,” said NDPhA Executive Vice President Mike Schwab. “This philanthropy represents our investment in the future of the profession. It is humbling to see so many of our Association members from across the state rally together to make this available for pharmacy students.”
The new Concept Pharmacy will give students hands-on experience as they learn about medication, patient care and applying their pharmacy education. The new Concept Pharmacy is expected to open in 2020.
