NASPA is an excellent organization that provides state pharmacy associations a mechanism to network and learn from each other. The voice they provide for us on a national level is invaluable in representing the interests of our members.

The type of work that I have done over the past twenty-five years has necessitated frequent interactions with state pharmacy association executives, and our investment in a NASPA associate membership has helped to meet this need in a huge way.

I love NASPA because they are able to connect multiple state and national pharmacy organizations together. These connections allow us to advance practice so that pharmacy teams are able to take care of patients better.

Membership in NASPA is invaluable. It gives me immediate access to a brainstrust of pharmacy association executives who have an understanding of the day-to-day and longer term work I do; and can provide critical insight and lessons-learned when facing new opportunities and challenges in state pharmacy. NASPA staff has been an invaluable resource for providing key background and context for policy and practice issues that have aided in the passage of substantial pharmacy-related legislation in Maryland . In addition, NASPA serves as a bridge and sieve for me to get the best out of our engagement with national pharmacy associations.

As I look to how I can best lead our state association, NASPA and its members provide the invaluable experience and resources to fully support my efforts. It is a close-knit network of committed individuals working tirelessly to help support and advance pharmacy practice at a state and national level.
