Why our members love NASPA.
I’ve experienced NASPA both as a state association exec and now as an affiliate that partners with them frequently on pharmacy compounding issues, and I just can’t say enough good things about the professionalism of the NASPA team, their openness to collaboration, and their passion for helping state pharmacy associations accomplish the important work they do for pharmacists and patients.
NASPA provides a wonderful opportunity to share and learn from my colleagues across the country. Learning about opportunities, their successes, and even their challenges helps me be better prepared to do the best possible job for Pennsylvania. We truly are stronger when we partner and collaborate together!
The type of work that I have done over the past twenty-five years has necessitated frequent interactions with state pharmacy association executives, and our investment in a NASPA associate membership has helped to meet this need in a huge way.
Being a NASPA member helps me to envision the future of pharmacy by interacting with state, national and even international leaders in the profession. This contact allows me to help pharmacists in Kansas ready themselves for inevitable changes in the way they practice pharmacy.
NASPA is an excellent organization that provides state pharmacy associations a mechanism to network and learn from each other. The voice they provide for us on a national level is invaluable in representing the interests of our members.
As I look to how I can best lead our state association, NASPA and its members provide the invaluable experience and resources to fully support my efforts. It is a close-knit network of committed individuals working tirelessly to help support and advance pharmacy practice at a state and national level.
I classify NASPA as an association manager career extender. Longevity in this industry is painfully short and is challenged even more by the diversity within our profession. NASPA is the pharmacy association manager's "tool kit for success".
CPF is proud to support NASPA as an organization and all they do for State Associations to advance pharmacy practice. We are pleased to have funded a recent grant for the 'Development of Model Pharmacist Collaborative Practice Authority Language.'
